Arrival at Delhi

Welcome to Golden Triangle Tour with Leh-Ladakh!!! On your arrival at Delhi airport, you will receive a garland welcome by Wander India Tours representative. Later, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. If time permits, explore the busy markets of Delhi city in the evening. The national capital of India has a lot to offer for travelers who visit from different parts of the globe. Also, enjoy street food in Old Delhi. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Delhi Sightseeing

The 2nd day of the tour is to explore the popular attractions of India’s national capital, Delhi. As Delhi is divided into two parts, New Delhi and Old Delhi, you will get to explore the city in two parts. After breakfast, explore the attractions of Old Delhi including Red Fort, Jamia Masjid, Raj Ghat, and others. In the afternoon, enjoy the lunch at an ethnic restaurant and then leave to explore the prominent attractions of New Delhi including Presidential Palace, Parliament House, India Gate, Qutub Minar, many more. In the evening, explore the busy markets of Chandni Chowk and other nearby places. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Delhi – Leh (Ladakh)

Today, you will leave for the next destination of the tour which is called Leh. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight for Leh city. Leh is the capital city of Ladakh region in Jammu and Kashmir. The small town is home to many Buddhist monasteries. Upon arrival, our representative will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. The evening is free at leisure to stroll through the markets of Leh City. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Leh – Alchi

After breakfast, our representative will guide you to Lamayuru village. Lamayuru is a small hamlet surrounded by rocky Hindukush peaks; here you can experience the culture and lifestyle of local people. Later visit Likir and Alchi Monasteries which are located on the Srinagar-Leh national highway. Here in these monasteries, you will find more than the 1000-year-old wall paintings. Witnessing these old paintings is worth experience in itself. Later, you will be moved to a camp in Alchi for an overnight stay.

Alchi – Leh

Enjoy the breakfast in the camp and then leave back for Leh City. En-route, visit Rhizong and Spituk monasteries. The Spituk monastery is located a few kilometers before reaching the Leh city. One needs to climb the hilltop to reach the Spituk monastery. Upon arrival at Leh, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free to enjoy your own. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Leh Sightseeing

The 6th day of the tour is to explore the famous attractions of Leh city. After breakfast, you will visit the Tibetan refugees camp Choklamsar and library to know some amazing art and culture about the Ladakh region. Later, you will visit the Ecological Development center, Leh Palace and Sankar Gompa and other prominent attractions in the city.

Trip to Sankar Monastery and Leh Gompa

Enjoy the breakfast in the morning and then leave short trip to Sankar monastery where you will witness the collection of a miniature of pure gold and an extensive range of paintings. Later visit Leh Gompa which was built way back in the year 1430. The Leh Gompa is home to a 47 feet tall statue of the Buddha. In the evening you will return back to the Leh city. If time permits, enjoy shopping at local markets to buy some handicrafts products. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

leh – Delhi – Agra

Today after breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and transfer the Leh airport to board a flight for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi airport, our representative will drive you straight to Agra. Once you reach Agra, you will check-in at the hotel. Agra is popular for various Mughal monuments including Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In the evening, explore the local markets of Agra and later try some Mughali cuisine in any traditional restaurant in the city. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Agra Sightseeing – Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Get up early in the morning to get the glimpse of sunrise at Taj Mahal. The great monument of love looks astounding during sunrise and sunset, and you can witness the changing colors of the marbles with sun rays. The great Taj Mahal was built by Mughal King Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. Later come back to your hotel for a breakfast. After breakfast, explore other attractions of the city including Agra Fort, Tomb of Akbar, and other popular attractions in the city. In the afternoon, you will leave for Jaipur-also known as the Pink city of Rajasthan. On the way to Jaipur, enjoy the lunch at a roadside restaurant and stop at Fatehpur Sikri which is a world heritage UNESCO site. Later continue your journey towards the pink city. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Rest for a while and then later in the evening, visit an ethnic restaurant called Chowki Dhani. Here, you will get to enjoy the folk dance and singing program, followed by a traditional dinner. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Jaipur Sightseeing

The 10th day of the tour is to explore the famous attractions of Jaipur city that holds a great history of Rajputana kingdom. After breakfast, you will leave to explore the Amber Fort which is situated on the top of the hill. You can take an elephant ride to reach a top of the hill. Later visit other attractions such as Jaigarh Fort, Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds), Jal Mahal, and others. In the evening, visit local markets where you can shop for some precious stones, jewelry, and various other handicraft products.

Jaipur – Delhi (Departure)

After breakfast, we will be driven back to Delhi and then transfer to the international airport to board a flight for onwards destination. Your 11 days Golden Triangle Tour with Leh-Ladakh comes to an end here.
